Overview:
A NGAUS tradition, the annual conference allows members to gather and vote on the top legislative priorities for NGAUS, share information and celebrate the camaraderie of being National Guard and NGAUS members.
More than 3,500 attendees and spouses are anticipated to attend this conference at McCormick Place in Chicago. The conference attendees include high ranking officials from the Department of Defense along with leaders from Congress. Each state will also be represented by the command staff of the states’ National Guard and other representatives of the states’ leadership. While we do not know the full line up of major speakers for the conference, in the past, key note speakers have included Presidents. Typically more than 300 corporate exhibitors participate.

About NGAUS:
The National Guard Association of the United States is the nation’s oldest military association lobbying solely for the benefit of the National Guard of the United States and educating the public about the Guard’s role and history in the Armed Forces of the United States. It was formed by militia officers in 1878 to obtain better equipment and training by petitioning Congress for more resources.
