Event Overview:

New for 2018! AKFCF’s “Prime Time” will broadcast live this February from the magnificent Marquis Ballroom of the Anaheim Marriott in sunny California. This newly created award-winning talk show will feature one-on-one interviews with well-known AKFCF and KFCC personalities discussing current events, brand culture, keys to profitability, steps to success, and the trending topics of the day.

In our season premiere, we will swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and in our own restaurants. Show segments will include guest interviews with AKFCF President Eric Overcash and KFC President Kevin Hochman. Special guest appearances will be made by newsmakers from KFC Corporate, and/or NCAC and RSCS partners.

Veteran comedian and television personality Scott Bloom will bring his sharp sense of humor and high-tempo energy to the AKFCF talk show with his welcoming interview style, love of audience participation, and innovative sketches.

The Anaheim Marriott is conveniently located on Convention Way in the heart of Orange County. This location is just steps away to the newly built Anaheim Convention Center – the home of our award-winning Vendor Showcase. This location will give the show unique character by allowing immediate interaction with attending franchisees parading along the palm lined boulevard for man-on-the-street interviews and live commentary.

AKFCF’s “Prime Time” will also offer a wide-ranging mix of panel discussions offering real-world advice, Family Feud game show style fun and several interactive workshops will provide tips from leading experts from the Disney Institute, Bridgeworks and the KFC Corporate and Franchise arena.

During off-air time, we invite you to spend quality networking time with friends and colleagues on the golf course, packing and sorting food at the Orange County Food Bank, mingling over drinks at the receptions and dancing to one of Country Music’s top artists, The Band Perry.

It will be filled with fun, education, networking, music and laughter. Fasten your seat belts - it's going to be one heck of a good time!

Exhibitor Information:

The trade show in 2018 will be located at the Anaheim Convention Center. 

For the first time in many years, all suppliers are invited to attend the KFCC updates during general session.  We encourage you to do so!  Your registration includes business sessions, all meals, social events and parties.  Trade show time is exclusive - no other meetings or events take place during open show hours.

The Association of Kentucky Fried Chicken Franchisees, Inc. was formed in 1974 and has a colorful history.

The AKFCF is composed of the seven U.S. regional associations plus the three international regions of CaribLA (Caribbean and Latin America), Canada, and Mexico, with each regional association autonomous and incorporated separately from the AKFCF.  Australia, Great Britain, Middle East, and Southern Africa are closely involved in the association on the international front and are always well represented at the AKFCF annual convention. Each regional association has representation on the AKFCF board of directors: namely, the region’s President, First Vice President, and Immediate Past President.
