Between 1,000-1,200 participants are estimated to attend, including judges, lawyers, psychologists, mediators, academics, custody evaluators, parenting coordinators, dispute resolution professionals, court service personnel, and others working in the family justice system.
Organizer
The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) is the preeminent international and interdisciplinary family law organization. Family law judicial officers, attorneys, mediators, and mental health professionals (both court-connected and those in private practice, including custody evaluators, parenting plan coordinators, and therapists) work together to create innovative approaches to custody conflicts.
AFCC’s educational programs provide cross-professional communication and training, and encourage the development of interdisciplinary collaboration for the benefit of families and children in the justice system. There are approximately 4,000 members in 27 countries worldwide including about 530 California Chapter members.
