The mission of the PHATS/SPHEM Annual Meetings is to provide educational and problem solving opportunities for athletic trainers and equipment managers at every level of professional hockey.
This is done through our educational symposiums, business meetings, and exhibit hall with our many valued vendors and recognition programs for our members.Currently, PHATS/SPHEM boasts over 600 members, who represent more than 100 Professional, NCAA and Canadian Hockey League teams from across North America and Europe including the NHL, AHL, ECHL, SPHL, NCAA, OHL, WHL, QMJHL, USHL and Junior Hockey Leagues.
To further the growth and education of our members, PHATS/SPHEM also welcomes the NHLTPS (National Hockey League Team Physicians Society) and SCAPH (Strength and Conditioning Association of Professional Hockey) to the Conference, giving members the opportunity to work hand in hand with the team doctors and strength coaches to share knowledge, techniques and procedures.
