BIO is the world's largest trade association representing biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. BIO members are involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products.

BIO also produces the BIO International Convention, the world’s largest gathering of the biotechnology industry, along with industry-leading investor and partnering meetings held around the world. BIO also works towards enriching the industry with networking, partnering and education opportunities. Exhibit in Des Moines

BIO has been busy designing a new floorplan that is the hub of Partnering, Exhibits, Start-Ups and Networking at the Iowa Events Center’s Hy-Vee Hall in Downton Des Moines. Companies and researchers looking to showcase their latest product or breakthrough will have options for how they want to be featured on the exhibit floor.

The 2019 BIO World Congress will attract 900 attendees from over 570 companies. 40% of the BIO World Congress audience are international attendees (coming from 35 countries) and 20% are C-level decision makers.
