About Us
Each year, the Guild holds its marquee Annual Conference event with over 50 global Guild and Associate Members in attendance. The cornerstone of the SSG Annual Conference is knowledge sharing, an interactive exchange of ideas and networking between the Guild and Associate members and economic developers and investment promotion professionals from around the world.
Guild and Associate members plan all conference content, including bringing in expert outside speakers, and also serve on panels and participate in breakout sessions with conference attendees for the purpose of sharing insights and fostering discussion.
The Guild’s Annual Conference provides multiple opportunities for networking between attendees and among Guild and Associate members and attendees. One fun aspect of the Annual Conference is an annual networking dinner and talent show which features both Guild and Associate members and economic developers showing off vocal and musical abilities.

Requirements for Full Membership
Full members must…
Be actively engaged as site selection professionals who have demonstrated deep experience and expertise in the business of providing corporate site selection services
Possess peer and client referrals and the established respect of other site selection professionals and industry participants
Have at least seven years of site location experience and demonstrate that they have led and are leading projects where they interfaced with corporate leadership
Be leaders in the site selection field and demonstrate that they are published and quoted as experts in the field
Adhere to the Code of Conduct established by the Site Selectors Guild.
